What is the Explorer Program?

The Clay County Sheriff's Office Explorer Program is a free program dedicated towards helping the youth within our community learn about the work that CCSO does each day.

The program provides educational training for youth and young adults between the ages of 14 to 21 on the purposes, mission, and objectives of law enforcement. Activities include community service projects, career orientation experiences, and leadership opportunities. Train like a Deputy in scenarios like traffic stops, crisis intervention and more!

To learn more about the program, fill out the contact form at the bottom of this page. If you have any questions, feel free to email us at Explorers@ClaySheriff.com .
